Bobby Dale Earnhardt is the grandson of the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. and the fourth generation of Earnhardts to race in NASCAR. Earnhardt began racing go-carts when he was about seven or eight years old. His grandfather gave him his first go-cart.

During school years, he worked on his uncle Dale Jr's farm, keeping up their private vehicles. At 18, he became a member of Dale Jr's race team as a mechanic and "catch can man." Since age 20, he has become interested in mower racing, Late Models, Running in the UCAR Clash and Forever 3 Racing.

When he was young, Earnhardt dreamed of being a racing driver. Moving into adolescence, he became more interested in being team leader ... Now, at age 23, Earnhardt dreams of competing, and to one day have his own racing team.
